Our Story
A new butcher shop has opened up in the Latrobe Valley region of Gippsland, and it’s quickly becoming a favourite among locals. Merchant Family Butchers was founded in 2019 by Racheal and Brenton, a husband and wife team who are passionate about delivering high-quality meats and exceptional customer service.
Racheal and Brenton had always dreamed of owning their own butcher shop, and when an opportunity presented itself in Newborough Gippsland, they jumped at the chance.
The couple poured all their energy into creating a shop that reflected their values. They source their meats from local farmers who shared their commitment to quality and ethical farming practices. They invested in top-of-the-line equipment to ensure the meats were cut and prepared to perfection. And they make customer service their top priority, greeting every customer with a warm smile and a genuine desire to help.
Their hard work paid off, and Merchant Family Butchers has quickly become a favourite among locals in the Latrobe Valley.
